Terms of use
Last updated 4 October 2026. These terms cover the Go Captain website and driver app. They are read with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection. Nothing here removes a right that UAE law does not allow to be removed.
The service
Go Captain is a dispatch board and a driver phone for orders that leave a warehouse in Dubai. A paid Shopify order can be placed on the board and assigned to a driver. The driver can open the map, call, or message the customer from that stop. A finished stop keeps its outcome. A completed delivery keeps a photo and a GPS point. A failed or rescheduled stop keeps the reason.
The service is operated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Prices, where a fee is charged, are agreed with the business before the work starts. This page does not add a charge that was not agreed.
Accounts
Dispatch signs in to the board. A driver signs in on the phone and sees only the stops assigned to that driver. You are responsible for keeping the sign-in confidential and for the updates made from that account. Tell the business promptly if you believe the account is being used without permission.
Tracking
A person who has an order number may use this website to see the status held on the board at that moment. The status can change after it is shown, for example if a stop is rescheduled or cannot be completed. Tracking is a view of the record. It is not a new promise about the time of arrival.
Delivery and pickup
A delivery is taken to the address on the order. A store pickup is collected from the warehouse in Dubai. If the order is marked cash on delivery, the driver collects the amount shown on the order. If the customer is not available, the address is wrong, or the parcel is refused, the driver records that reason. A new time, once agreed, is saved on the same order.
What is not promised
Traffic, access to the building, and the accuracy of the address all affect the route. Go Captain does not promise arrival at a particular minute unless that time was agreed in writing for that order. Rights you have as a consumer under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 remain in force.
Customer information
A name, phone number, and address on an order may be used only to complete that stop, to record the outcome, and to meet a duty under UAE law. They may not be copied for another purpose. The privacy notice explains the data in more detail.
Responsibility
Go Captain is responsible for loss caused by its own fault, to the extent the law of the United Arab Emirates requires. These terms do not limit liability for fraud, or for any harm where UAE law does not allow a limit. Go Captain is not responsible for a delay that follows a wrong address, a refusal, or a customer who is not available, once that reason is recorded on the order.
Stopping access
Access may be suspended if an account is used to reach customer information for a purpose other than the delivery, or if the use breaks these terms or UAE law. Suspension does not erase a record that the law requires the business to keep.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the UAE, you may also use the complaint routes under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.
